Welcome to Black Jacket Films, where storytelling meets artistry. We are Adam Parks and Simar Brar-Parks, the creative duo behind the lens. Our love story began at film school, where we discovered not just our passion for each other but also our shared love for capturing life’s most meaningful moments. As a husband-and-wife team, we bring a unique synergy to our craft—Adam with his talent for crafting cinematic wedding films and Simar Simar, with her experience as a published photographer for Vogue India, Conde Nast Bride India, Elegant Weddings, and Brides Today, has also led Black Jacket Films to receive its recent accolade as Best Wedding Photographer from the Canadian Choice Awards.

Together, we’ve dedicated ourselves to preserving love stories just like yours in a way that feels timeless and personal.
